Long-term Open Employment Support Recognized

On 20 November the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP) and a long-term staff member, Nelson, received awards presented by the Minister for Social Services Tanya Plibersek, in support and recognition of the Open Employment Scheme.

Nelson began working at the CDPP on 17 July 1995 and was awarded for 30 years of employment. While his role in the Information and Records Management team has changed over time, Nelson's work ethic, reliability and willingness to engage and deliver has not changed.

The CDPP also received an award for its long-term support of the Open Employment Scheme and of Nelson.

The event was hosted by Jobsupport - the organisation that assisted placing Nelson at the CDPP and continues to supports him under the Inclusive Employment Australia program, which recently replaced the Disability Employment Scheme .
