Lotto Win and New Ute Dream in Yorke Peninsula

A Yorke Peninsula man and his beloved border collies are set to ride in style with a brand-new sleek Ute after landing $760,000 in the weekend’s X Lotto draw.

The South Australian winner was going about his usual Monday morning routine when lotto officials gave him a call that would turn his day, and likely his life, upside down.

"Oh my! Woah!" he laughed upon hearing the news. "That's a day-maker! Thank you, thank you!"

The winning ticket was a 50-game QuickPick purchased online, featuring his lucky number 28. Despite being an occasional player who participates "maybe once a month", luck was certainly on his side during the weekend draw.

"We were thinking of buying a new Ute, and we didn't know if it was within our reach. But we certainly can now!" he said, brimming with excitement. "We want to buy something that we can cart our dogs in. We’ve got border collies. This is wonderful. Thank you so much."

Upon being asked how he plans to celebrate this life-changing windfall, the winner and his wife disclosed that their festivities would kick off immediately.

"Forget celebrating tonight; we're going to start the celebrations now!" he cheered.

The winning numbers for the Saturday  Lotto draw 4399 were 37, 28, 27, 11, 41, and 23, with supplementary numbers 2 and 1.

This win adds to the increasing number of division one Lotto winners in Australia and brings a wave of hope to others participating in the game, especially to those on the Yorke Peninsula.

The Saturday Lotto draw 4399 produced six other division one winners across Australia, including two more in New South Wales, two in Queensland, and one each in South Australia and Western Australia.
