A microchip may be small, but it can make a big difference when it comes to reuniting lost pets with their owners.

Monash Council is partnering with Animal Aid offering two low-cost microchipping sessions this November, giving residents an affordable way to protect their cats and dogs.

If your pet isn't registered with Council, we can help you get set up on the day, with animal registrations available at 50% of the usual cost.

A simple step that can make a big difference

For just $20 and around 10 minutes of your time, a qualified vet nurse will microchip your pet, providing permanent identification if they ever become lost. It's a simple step that can make a difference when it comes to reuniting pets with their families.

Before you book

Sessions are open to Monash residents and appointments are essential. A maximum of two animals can be booked per person.

Our team will also be available to answer questions about pet registration, desexing, pet health and responsible pet ownership. Please check the booking page for full appointment, safety and attendance information before your visit.
