Lucky escape for six in Old Noarlunga crash

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash at Old Noarlunga early this morning.

Just after 2am on Wednesday 1 September, police and paramedics were called to the corner of Seaford Road and Main South Road after a vehicle collided with a brick wall of a business.

One occupant was trapped and had to be cut from the vehicle while paramedics treated five other occupants at the scene.

Two 16-year-old girls and an 18-year-old woman were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and a 14-year-old boy and 26-year-old man were taken to the Flinders medical Centre. All injuries are considered non-life threatening at this time.

The driver, a 20-year-old man was also taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with minor injuries. He will also be subjected to mandatory blood tests.

Main South Road is currently closed for northbound traffic between Griffiths Drive and Seaford Road while the scene is being investigated and then cleared.
