This is a flood warning message from the Mackay Regional Council. Dangerous flooding is occurring at Finch Hatton, Cattle Creek, Eungella, Gargett and Pinnacle. Residents in low lying areas should MONITOR CONDITIONS and BE PREPARED to MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND and if safe to do so, warn neighbours. Stay up to date with the latest information from BoM. For assistance with a life-threatening situation phone Triple Zero (000) immediately.

For assistance with non-life-threatening situations - such as help with a damaged roof or storm damage - phone SES on 132 500.
