Macquarie Group today notes Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) has reached financial close on the acquisition of AMP Capital's Global Equities and Fixed Income business.
Following the sale announcement on 8 July 2021, all customary closing conditions have now been satisfied and the transfer of ~$A47 billion1 of assets under management from AMP to MAM has commenced.
