Male pedestrian dies after crash in Liverpool

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after an elderly man died following an incident in a Liverpool car park yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 2.30pm on Monday 27 November 2017 a 94-year-old man was struck at slow speed by a reversing vehicle in a car park at the corner of Hoxton Park Road and Flowerdale Road.

The 70-year-old male driver of the car stopped and spoke to police at the scene, while the injured man was treated and conveyed to Liverpool Hospital.

Sadly, the man later died in hospital and police were again contacted.

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
