Malicious wounding; woman arrested, NSW

A woman is expected to be charged following the malicious wounding of her sister in Glebe yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 3.20pm (Monday 14 May 2018), a 51-year-old woman presented at Glebe Police Station suffering a stab wound to her head.

Officers rendered first-aid to the woman and she was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for further treatment to a non-life-threatening wound.

Following investigations officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command attended Walla Mulla Park in Woolloomooloo, about 1.15am today (Tuesday 15 May 2018).

A 46-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where she is expected to be charged and served an interim Apprehended Domestic Violence Order.
