Man and woman charged with fraud in South-west Sydney

A man and woman have been charged with fraud offences in south-west Sydney yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 6.30pm (3 August 2017), police were called to a home on Pickwick Way, Ambarvale, for an unrelated matter when they located and seized a large amount of identification documents and letters.

Officers from Campbelltown Local Area Command commenced an investigation into the property that was located.

Following inquiries, about 6.50am today, police executed a search warrant at the residence in Pickwick Way.

A 24-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were arrested at the home and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

The woman and the man have been charged with stealing, goods in custody, receive property-theft and eleven counts of possess personal identification with intent to commit indictable offence.

They were both refused bail and appeared before Campbelltown Local Court today.
