Man and woman to face court over Royal Park robbery, SA

A man and a woman will face court today over an alleged armed robbery at Royal Park on Friday, according to SA Police.

About 10.30am on Friday 25 May, two men armed with machetes forced their way into a Palm Avenue home, threatened the male occupant and stole his credit cards before jumping a side fence and running off.

The victim wasn't physically injured in the incident.

As a result of investigations, police arrested a 49-year-old Seaton man over the incident on Friday night. He was charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft, unlawful detention and property damage.

On Saturday night, a 44-year-old woman from Royal Park was arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft, property damage, unlawful detention and unlawful possession.

The man and woman were refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
