Man arrested after breaking into car at Elizabeth East, SA

A man has been arrested after he allegedly broke into a car at Elizabeth East this morning, according to SA Police.

At about 12.10am, patrols were called to a house in Worthington Road after reports that a man was trying to break into the victim’s car.

Police were nearby, and arrived at the scene within minutes, finding the suspect inside the car he was trying to steal.

A 21-year-old Ingle Farm man was charged with illegal interference of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession and property damage. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
