Man arrested after car crashes into Hoppers Crossing house

Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man after a car crashed into a house in Hoppers Crossing earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

Police allege the 27-year-old Hoppers Crossing man was driving a white Ford sedan when he lost control and struck a house at the corner of Mossfiel Drive and Bourke Crescent shortly before 6am on 2 August.

The driver allegedly fled the scene and was picked up nearby by the driver of a white utility.

A man was arrested yesterday in Werribee and charged with conduct endangering persons, burglary, drugs and weapon offences.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on 23 August.
