Man arrested after drugs and jewellery located during search warrant in Toormina

A man has been arrested and charged after police located drugs and jewellery during the execution of a search warrant at Toormina, NSW Police say.

Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command commenced investigations after a number of break and enter offences in the Toormina and Sawtell areas in early December 2017.

Following ongoing investigations, officers executed a search warrant at a house on Anderson Street, Toormina, about 8.20am yesterday (Tuesday 12 December 2017).

During the search, officers allegedly located a large quantity of jewellery, mobile phones and other electrical devices as well as a crystal substance suspected of being methlyamphetamine.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at the location and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged with a number of offences including eight counts of goods in custody and possess prohibited drug.

He was refused bail and will appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court today (Wednesday 13 December 2017).
