A man has been charged after police allegedly located drugs hidden in a car, following a vehicle stop in Wangi Wangi, near Lake Macquarie earlier today, NSW Police say.
About 9.30am today, officers from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command stopped a Nissan Navara on Wangi Road, Wangi Wangi.
Following investigations, officers searched the car and allegedly located an amount of "ice" concealed in an air condition vent.
The drugs were seized and will undergo forensic examinations.
The driver, a 26-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Belmont Police Station where he was charged with supply indictable quantity of drugs.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Belmont Local Court on 26 October 2016.
