Man arrested after pursuit at Seaford, SA

A man has been arrested after a pursuit at Seaford last night, after he was initially stopped by police for a breath test, according to SA Police.

At about 11.40pm, police will allege that they stopped a Ford sedan on Argosy Street and the male driver underwent a breath test. When the test result was positive, the man drove off.

Police set up road spikes, and the car was spiked on Tiller Drive. The driver was arrested soon after.

A 32-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with failing to stop for police, driving disqualified, breach of bail and exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, after recording a breath test reading of 0.130.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
