One man has been arrested and police continue to investigate a serious assault at Roxby Downs this afternoon, according to SA Police.
Police were called to a violent disturbance in Hermit Street, Roxby Downs just after midday on Saturday 17 December. A 26-year-old man sustained serious head injuries and will be flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
A 39-year-old Roxby Downs man was arrested nearby and charged with cause serious harm. He has been refused police bail and will appear in court on Monday.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
