Man arrested after Unley Park break-in, SA

A man will face court today after being caught breaking into a Unley Park home this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 1.15am, Tuesday 12 July, patrols quickly responded to an alarm activation on Grove Street. On arrival they saw a man walking down the driveway carrying a television. The man allegedly ran at police pushing one officer over.

The 49-year-old man from Ottoway was charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft, aggravated assault, hinder police and going equipped to commit an offence.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

Cordons were set up to search for a second offender, patrols were unable to locate him.
