A man has been arrested following an incident at Pooraka where a security guard was struck by a car fleeing a business premises early this morning, according to SA Police.
About 5am on Sunday 3 June, a security patrol attended a car yard on Main North Road after two offenders were seen damaging cars.
The security guard located two men and a white Holden Commodore in a nearby car park, and as he attempted to confront the men, they allegedly drove off and clipped the guard as they left.
The man sustained non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of investigations, Detectives from Holden Hill CIB attended a Salisbury North home and arrested the alleged driver of the car. Police also located the car involved and seized the white Holden from the premises.
A 28-year-old man from Kilburn was charged with aggravated acts to endanger life, being unlawfully on premises, illegal interference of a motor vehicle, theft and failing to truthfully answer. The man did not apply for bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow. 18/D00659
Police investigations are continuing regarding the second man involved in the incident.
