Man arrested following attempted burglary in Templestowe

Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested a man in Mill Park this morning following an alleged attempted burglary last weekend, Victoria Police say.

The man was arrested when police executed a search warrant at a residential address on Blossom Park Drive.

The 23-year-old Mill Park man was interviewed and subsequently charged with attempted burglary, going equipped to steal, driving whilst suspended and offences against the Bail Act.

He will be appearing at Ringwood Magistrate’s Court today.

The charges follow an incident at a Chinese temple on Summerhill Road, Templestowe on 24 September where it’s alleged a man attempted to break into a garage.
