Police have arrested and charged a man in relation to three business break and enters in the Southern Highlands this month, NSW Police say.
Just after 10pm on Sunday 5 March 2017, there was a break in at shopping centre in Pioneer Street, Mittagong, with entry forced to a restaurant inside.
Police were told an amount of cash was stolen and an attempt was made to access a second business in the centre.
Early this morning today police were called to Kirkham Street, Moss Vale, after reports two businesses were being broken into.
Police arrived a short time later and arrested a 43-year-old man nearby. A number of items police will allege had been stolen were located and seized.
The man, from Mittagong, was taken to Bowral Police Station and charged with being armed with intent to commit a serious indictable offence and three counts of break enter and steal.
He was refused bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court tomorrow.
Inquiries are continuing.
