Police have arrested a 31-year-old man in relation to a shooting incident in Clayton South on 21 June, Victoria Police say.
It is alleged a man discharged a firearm into the fence of a Westall Road building site about 3.30pm.
Three men who were present on the site were unharmed.
The Frankston man was arrested without incident during a planned arrest at an address on McMahons Road in Frankston this afternoon with the assistance of the Special Operations Group and Fugitive Task Force.
He is currently being interviewed.
