Police have arrested a man following a pursuit in the western suburbs overnight, according to SA Police.
Just after 12.30am on Saturday 17 December, patrols spotted an unregistered Holden Statesman sedan on Hayward Avenue and tried to pull the driver over.
He refused and was pursued through backstreets and then onto Holbrooks Road before he turned left onto Henley Beach Road.
The driver then turned into Ebor Avenue where the car suffered mechanical and stopped.
Police had to force entry into the car after the driver locked the doors and refused to get out.
The 43-year-old from Christie Downs was charged with engage in police pursuit, drive disqualified and unregistered and uninsured. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
