Brimbank Embona Taskforce detectives have had a successful day at the office after arresting a man following five armed robberies in the Deer Park and St Albans areas at the beginning of the month, Victoria Police say.
The armed robberies targeted two service stations, two pharmacies and a milk bar.
A 34-year-old Derrimut man was arrested yesterday and charged with five counts of armed robbery.
The man appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this morning and was further remanded to November 2017.
