Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man this morning following a series of burglaries, Victoria Police say.
As part of an investigation into a series of retail burglaries in the Glenroy area between 28 August and 2 October police executed a warrant at a Brunswick East home this morning.
During a search of the apartment laptops, mobile phones and hairdressing equipment allegedly stolen during the burglaries was seized along with an alleged sawn off rifle.
Detectives arrested a 30-year-old Brunswick East man at the scene.
He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
