Police have arrested a man following a suspicious fire in Lake Tyers overnight, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the Rules Road house fire at 3.30am.
Despite the efforts of the CFA the house was extensively damaged.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and a 38-year-old Lake Tyers man was arrested at the scene.
He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
