Man arrested for drug supply in Bankstown

A man has been arrested for drug supply in Bankstown after a search warrant was executed, NSW Police say.

About 7pm on Monday 27 June 2016, police from the Central Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad attended an address on Brandon Ave, Bankstown, and executed a search warrant.

Inside the premises police located and seized approximately 300mls of methylamphetamine liquid, 56g of methylamphetamine crystal (Ice), 140g of heroin, 1 kg of cannabis, more than $7000 in Australian currency and numerous other drug paraphernalia.

The estimated value of the drugs seized is $159,000.

A 40-year-old was arrested at the property and taken back to Bankstown Police station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug indictable quantity, supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, goods in custody and deal with proceeds of crime.

The male appeared at Bankstown Local Court today and remains bail refused to reappear in court on 24 August 2016.
