Man Arrested for Threatening Police at Christies Beach

A man has been arrested after making threats against a police officer.

It will be alleged about 11.30am yesterday Wednesday 27 January, a man visited the Christies Beach Magistrates Court and made several threats against a police officer.

As a result, police attended the man's home address where he was arrested without incident.

The 75-year-old man from Huntfield Heights was charged with stalk a public officer.

His bail was refused and it is expected he will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court later today.
