Man arrested in a city nightclub, SA

A man has been arrested overnight for allegedly trafficking a controlled drug in an inner-city nightclub, according to SA Police.

Just after 1am police attended the licensed premises after reports from security that a man has been found in possession of a number of pills.

Police spoke with a man and while searching his belongings located 30 tablets believed to be ecstasy pills.

During a search of his Elizabeth East home police located drug paraphernalia, cash and a further 47 ecstasy tablets.

A 19- year-old man was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug.

He was bailed and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 8 July 2016.
