Man arrested in Melbourne

Police have arrested a man in an alleged stolen vehicle in Melbourne last night (21 January), Victoria Police say.

Investigators sighted the vehicle on Bourke Street about 7.30pm.

Checks of the vehicle alerted police that the vehicle was allegedly stolen from an address in Cranbourne East yesterday afternoon.

A 21 year-old man from no fixed address was arrested at the scene without incident.

The man also returned an alleged evidentiary breath test of 0.07

He has been charged with drink driving, traffic and bail related offences and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
