Man Arrested in Quakers Hill Double Stabbing Deaths

A man has been arrested as detectives investigate the death of a woman and man in Sydney's north west.

Just before 5am today (Sunday 28 December 2025), emergency services were called to a home on Illabo Street, Quakers Hill, after reports of a disturbance.

Officers from Riverstone Police Area Command attended and found a man on the footpath, suffering stab wounds.

A woman, aged in her 30s, was found deceased inside the home. She is yet to be formally identified.

The injured man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been established, and detectives have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident under Strike Force Acoma.

About 5.30am, a 47-year-old man was arrested after attending Blacktown Police Station.

Police have since been notified, the man, aged in his 30s, died in hospital about 9am. He is yet to be formally identified.
