Man arrested on roof of building in Adelaide, SA

A man has been arrested after being found on a roof of a building in the CBD overnight, according to SA Police.

Patrols were initially speaking with the man on Currie Street following a disturbance just before 4am, when he ran off towards Elizabeth Street.

He was chased by police and a subsequent search found the man on the roof of a building on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Waymouth Street.

The 20-year-old from Andrews Farm was safely removed from the roof with assistance from the SAMFS and has been charged with unlawfully on premises, resist police and breach of bail.

He has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
