Man arrested over domestic disturbance at Elizabeth, SA

Elizabeth CIB have arrested a man following a domestic disturbance at Elizabeth last night, according to SA Police.

Just after 6pm on Monday 6 June, police and ambulance crews responded to reports that a man had been stabbed at a block of units on Main North Road.

On arrival, police located a man who sustained a stab wound to the stomach. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment however his injuries are not considered life threatening.

A woman at the address also sustained minor injuries during the incident and was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital.

The 28-year-old Elizabeth man has been arrested and is expected to be charged with aggravated assault cause harm. He will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.
