Man arrested over jewellery store theft, SA

Eastern Adelaide CIB detectives arrested a man over the theft of nearly $30,000 worth of jewellery from an Adelaide store, according to SA Police.

It will be alleged the man stole a tray of jewellery from a Rundle Mall store just before 5pm on Thursday 19 May.

Following examination of the crime scene and investigations, detectives yesterday arrested a 47-year-old Millswood man.

He was charged with theft. He did not apply for bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

The stolen jewellery has not yet been recovered.
