Police are investigating a glassing incident in Kiama this morning.
About 1.15am, police were called to licensed premises on Terralong Street, following reports of a glassing.
Police have been told an argument ensued between two groups of men drinking at the premises.
During the fight, a 24-year-old man was struck in the face with a glass bottle. His friend, a 26-year-old man, was punched in the face.
As a result, the 24-year-old man suffered a deep laceration above his eye. The 26-year-old sustained minor injuries.
They were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics. The younger man was taken to Shellharbour Hospital to receive further treatment.
Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or witnessed the incident to contact Lake Illawarra Police
