Man arrested over Sefton Park assaults, SA

Holden Hill Police have arrested a Broadview man following a series of assaults at a Sefton Park shopping centre earlier today, according to SA Police.

At 1.15pm on Thursday 5 May, a man allegedly assaulted several people as he walked through the Regency Plaza shopping centre on the corner of Regency Road and Main North Road.

One victim, a 56-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she was treated for concussion.

Just after 10.30pm, police enquires led them to a Broadview house where they arrested a 20-year-old man connected with the incident.

He is currently being interviewed and is expected to be charged with numerous counts of assault.

The arrested man is likely to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.
