Man arrested over Unley robbery, SA

A man has been charged following an aggravated robbery at the Unley Shopping Centre earlier this week, according to SA Police.

Police will allege at about 4.20pm on Tuesday (29 May), the man threatened a woman and punched her in the face before taking her car. The victim was shaken by the incident, but not seriously injured.

The woman’s car was found abandoned yesterday at an Unley Park street.

Meanwhile police investigating the robbery of a store in the Adelaide CBD yesterday located and arrested a 26-year-old man.

He was charged with the robbery of the jewellery store and has since been further charged with the aggravated robbery at Unley. He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
