Man assaulted, car stolen in robbery in Narwee

A delivery driver has been assaulted and had his car stolen during a robbery at Narwee, NSW Police say.

About 9.55pm (Friday 1 June 2018), police were called to Fisher Lane, after a 22-year-old man was confronted by two men who were armed with a firearm.

The victim was assaulted before his car, a white coloured 2007 Toyota Rav4, with NSW Registration DDH 94M, was stolen by the men.

Police from Campsie Police Area Command responded and searched the area, however the offenders were not located.

The victim was taken to St George Hospital for treatment to head wounds.

Detectives are conducting inquiries into the incident.

At this stage the two men have only been described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance.
