Man assaulted during home invasion; four arrested - Cabramatta

Four people have been arrested after a man was assaulted during a home invasion in the Sydney's south west overnight.

Just before 3am (Thursday 30 July 2020), police were called to a home on Cabramatta Road, Cabramatta, after reports of a home invasion.

Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command attended and found a 35-year-old man who had been seriously assaulted at the home.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A perimeter was established and with the assistance of the Dog Unit, four people - two men, aged 34 and 35, and two woman, aged 25 and 42 – were arrested.

They have all been taken to Fairfield Police Station and remain in custody.

A crime scene has been established and will be forensically examined.
