Man blows more than five times legal limit, SA

A man blew more than five times the legal blood alcohol limit after he was involved in a crash at Woodville Gardens yesterday afternoon, according to SA Police.

The man's vehicle collided with a parked car on Humphries Terrace, Woodville Gardens about 6.40pm on Wednesday 7 September. No one was injured during the crash.

The driver, a 36-year-old Mitchell Park man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.259. He was reported for drink driving and driving without due care and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date. He was also issued with an immediate loss of licence for 12 months and his car was impounded for 28 days.
