Man charged after break and enter in Woongarrah

A man has been charged after a break and enter on the Central Coast. , NSW Police say

On Saturday 18 February 2017, police were patrolling Woongarrah, about 11km from Wyong, when they approached a man in a silver Holden Commodore.

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes searched the vehicle and allegedly located 30kgs of copper wiring.

Police will allege the copper wire was stolen in a break and enter that occurred on Thursday 19 January 2017 at a power station in Colongra, about 23km from Wyong.

It is alleged the copper wiring is worth approximately $50,000.

A 34-year-old man was charged with receiving stolen property x3, deal with proceeds of crime x3, break and enter x2 and disposing of stolen property.

The man was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court today.
