A man has been charged after a vehicle stop in the state's Murrumbidgee region.
About 9pm yesterday (Sunday 27 July 2025), officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District stopped a vehicle on Goldfields Way, Barmedman.
Police searched the vehicle, allegedly locating 500 grams of methylamphetamine in a hidden compartment.
The driver – a 60-year-old man – was arrested and taken to West Wyalong Police Station, where he was charged with supply prohibited drug large commercial quantity, and goods in personal custody suspected being stolen.
He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Monday 28 July 2025).
