Police will allege one of the men, aged 20, got out of the car and went to the front door where he spoke to a woman residing at the property.

A short time later, a 28-year-old man walked from inside the home and fired a single round into the window of the Hilux.

The vehicle and four occupants left the location. No one was injured.

Officers from Central Hunter Local Area Command were notified and attended Mount View Road where an investigation was commenced.
