Man charged following aggravated indecent assaults in Eastgardens

A man has been charged after allegedly indecently assaulting two teenage girls at a shopping complex in Sydney’s east at the weekend., NSW Police say

About 3.30pm on Saturday (27 August 2016), two girls – aged 13 and 14 – were at a shopping complex on Bunnerong Road, Eastgardens.

Police will allege a 45-year-old man indecently assaulted the 13-year-old girl in a shop.

A short time later, it’s alleged the man indecently assaulted the 14-year-old girl.

The incident was reported to officers from Botany Bay Local Area Command and an investigation commenced.

Following inquiries, a 45-year-old man was arrested at a home on King Street, Parramatta, yesterday.

He was taken to Merrylands Police Station and charged with aggravated indecent assault (x2).

The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
