Man charged following Braybrook stabbing

Police have charged a 45-year-old man following an alleged stabbing in Braybrook last night, Victoria Police say.

It is alleged a man aged in his 50s was stabbed in Market Street about 9pm and walked to a nearby licensed premises where he raised the alarm.

The Melton man remains in hospital in a stable condition.

A Darley man has been charged with recklessly cause serious injury and recklessly cause injury.

He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 28 April 2019.
