Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 27-year-old man following a shooting in Campbellfield on Monday, Victoria Police say.
The incident occurred at a shopping centre on the Hume Highway where a 24-year-old man was allegedly shot a number of times.
The Southbank man was taken to hospital where he later died.
A Greenvale man has been charged with one count of murder and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
