Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged with a man in relation to a series of fires in Brimbank, Victoria Police say.
The 40-year old Attwood man has been charged with four counts of intentionally cause bushfire and four counts of reckless conduct endangering serious injury.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at court at a later date.
The alleged incidents took place in Fitzgerald Road, Sunshine West and Grassland Crescent, Cairnlea from January 9 until January 14.
