Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the discovery of a woman’s body in Hampton Park yesterday, Victoria Police say.
Police were called to the Redwood Avenue address just before midday and the 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
Detectives have charged the man with one count of murder.
He has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
The woman is yet to be formally identified.
