Man charged following inquiries into act of indecency in Birrong

A man will face court next month after he allegedly committed an act of indecency on two separate occasions in Sydney’s south-west, NSW Police say.

The man allegedly exposed himself near a 31-year-old woman at Birrong Train Station about 7.50am on Sunday 18 June 2017.

He allegedly indecently exposed himself near the woman again about 8am on Saturday 4 November 2017 at the same location.

The woman reported the matter to police who commenced an investigation.

Following ongoing inquiries, officers attended a sports club on Greenfield Parade, Bankstown, about 9pm on Friday 22 December 2017 and arrested a 46-year-old man.

He was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with wilful and obscene behaviour and act of indecency.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday 17 January 2018.
