Man charged following stabbing at Sefton, NSW

A man will face court today after he allegedly stabbed another man during an argument in Sefton, NSW Police say.

About 10.20pm yesterday, two men, aged 32 and 42, became involved in an argument on Everley Street, Sefton.

Emergency services were called to the location when the older man allegedly stabbed the younger man.

The younger man was treated at the scene and taken to Westmead Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He is in a stable condition.

The older man was arrested nearby and taken to Parramatta Police Station.

He was charged with wound with intent to cause GBH.

The man, from Guildford, was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Court today.

It is alleged that the men knew each other.
