Detectives from Melton Crime Investigation Unit have arrested a man today following an aggravated burglary in Taylors Hill earlier this month where a firearm was allegedly pointed at the victims, Victoria Police say.
Police arrested a 36-year-old Deer Park man this morning in Albanvale.
During a search of the man a loaded firearm was located.
He was interviewed and subsequently charged with aggravated burglary with firearm, prohibited person possess firearm and traffic offences including conduct endangering serious injury.
The man will face Melbourne Magistrate’s Court this afternoon.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at a residential property on Flinders Street, Taylors Hill in the early hours of 3 October.
Two people present in the property at the time of the incident were not injured.
